Jordan missed out on wins at the Golden Globes, Critics Choice Awards, and BAFTAs (winner Robert Aramayo's film I Swear was not eligible for this year's Oscars due to release dates), but his win here has certainly solidified him as a new frontrunner for the Academy Award.
